The 7080 Gwangju Chungjangro Festival is a leading street festival that takes place in Chungjangro, a central commercial area and street for young people, since 2004.

The Festival features public performances, contests, exhibitions and experience programs bringing about reminiscences and the feelings of the 1970s and 1980s, as well as other events including creating streets that look like the 1970s-1980s, street parades, alumni reunions, and the street arts festivals.
