  • March 8, 1993 ground-breaking (first phase)
  • October 13, 1994 designated as Gwangju foreign invested company complex (Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy Notification No. 1994-128)
  • May 27, 1996 received approval for development project (Iksan Regional Construction and Management Office Notification No. 1996-113)
  • August 17, 2001 designated as Gwangju Pyeongdong foreign invested company complex (Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy Notification No. 2001-97)
  • December 24, 2001 construction permit granted for the first section of Gwangju Pyeongdong (Gwangju Metropolitan Government Notification No. 2001-179)
  • October 14, 2002 ground-breaking (second phase)
  • February 11, 2005 completion (second phase)
