1. Roles of investment support agencies
In order to provide prompt and appropriate service to companies that hope to invest in Gwangju City, the city has established an investment promotion committee composed of local enterprises, economic organizations, academic organizations and research institutes.
To provide systematic support to the investment promotion committee, which is centered on the private sector, the city created a investment advisors' group made up of experts from across the nation. In addition the city established and operates an investment promotion task force, which has been expanded by additional civil servants.
