in collaboration with 33 environment-related agencies, and more than 10 environmental research institutes, is being
promoted.
Status of market
- Rapid growth of the environmental facilities market in Korea and overseas
ㆍ The market for global environmental facilities stood at US$110 billion in 1998, and $169 billion in 2005,
showing an annual growth of 7.6% during that interval.
ㆍ The size of Korea's environmental facilities market stood at 2.1 trillion won in 1998, and 4.6 trillion
won in 2005, showing an annual growth rate of 18%.
